Project
Lycksele Wind Farms have been under development since XXX and have undergone various changes and modifications over time.
It is presented here in its last version, in which it is about to enter into construction.
The projects consist of five smaller wind farm sites all located in Lycksele municipality and ranging from 4 to 13 wind turbines.
These are hence individually much smaller than typical wind farms in central and northern Sweden.
The wind farm sites are structured in the following manner

In order to provide its electricity to the Swedish grid, all sites need to be connected with electrical overhead lines to a new substation called Västerrmyriset.
This infrastructure will be constructed and operated by a separate company called Vindlänken, which is also administrated by us.
After the substation, the
electricitiy will be passed on to Vattenfall, which itself needs to build a new overhead line all the way to Tuggen where it connects to Svänska Kraftnet

On a global scale, climate change is the biggest challenge, wind and solar as only expandable option, increasing electricity demand and need for new electricity, joint effort

There is no doubt that wind farms create disturbances like visibility, noise, shadow ice but a rigourus

We acknolowegde that the individual perception of distrurbance is different
Construction works, blasting
Modern wind turbines are engineering master pieces and its growth in size has helped to make electricity .
This helped them to be less noisier
The are rotating slower so the disturbance is reduced
The blinking can synchronize and dimmed, in certain countries already de-activated if no planes are in sight
They have smart detection systems to protect bats and birds
Sustainability criteria
Community
Each wind farm project shall bring its benefits to the community to make sure that those who are impacted
are also seeing and feeling the benefit.
