Polhem Infra and Prime Capital enter into partnership

Polhem Infra and Prime Capital enter into partnership to invest in the 265 MW wind power portfolio in Lycksele, Sweden

Polhem Infra – AP1, AP3 and AP4’s direct investment company with a focus on sustainable infrastructure investments in the Nordics – has entered into a cooperation agreement with funds managed by Prime Capital AG for the construction of a 265MW wind farm in Lycksele.

Following the partnership agreement, construction and planning are now underway for the Fjällberg, Vinliden and Hornmyran wind farms with planned commissioning in 2027. Polhem Infra and Prime’s investment of approximately EUR 420 million is expected to provide a total of approximately 1 TWh of new renewable electricity production to Sweden from 2027. This corresponds to the consumption of approximately 100,000 households and will provide renewable energy, among other things, to enable the industrial energy transition that is underway in northern Sweden.
